Old Technology Now Out of Reach

Sawmill in Doodwicken in the late 1970's. It was from this plant that modern Doodwicken was built including most of the furniture used in the schools, churches, and homes. That was then! Call it an old technology if you wish but my people are having hard time getting to this point after a 14 year civil war that devastated the country.

Inhabitants of the town speaking through health worker Topoh Tuah Wleh called on citizens of Doodwicken living in the United States and other places with hearts to help the town with shovels, diggers, hoes and cutlasses to help them clean up and build pit latrines. Mr. Wleh lamented that the mosquitoes are taking over the town as a result of the bushes and exposed feces were posing serious health dangers.
